babyconfidence First Aid courses

First Aid got off to a great start  -thank you to those who came along to Jane & Emma’s first courses here, here is some of the feedback received so far
“course content was great, and Emma was fab”
“well worth it, I will be recommending it to others”
“useful & relevant – Jane was approachable & informative”

The first course Paediatric First Aid and Common Newborn Medical Problems has been designed to cover a lot of the issues and conditions which can cause anxiety when you’re about to be a parent for the first time-or have a very small baby already. The course covers everything from SIDS prevention (cot death) through to vomiting, blood in nappies, breathing problems and of course resuscitation and life support. This course is led by a Consultant in Emergency Medicine and is invaluable in late pregnancy or baby’s early weeks as a real confidence boost. I have to admit even I was a little nervous when I first brought my baby home and would have found this very reassuring!

Cost per person £75.

The second course on offer is Paediatric First Aid for the First Year and Beyond. Led by a Registered Nurse and member of the Association of First Aiders with 20 years experience. You are in very capable hands to learn all about how to deal with any situations you may find yourself in as your baby thinks about becoming mobile, such as falls, head injuries, choking, bleeding, burns, paediatric resuscitation  and much more.

Cost per person   £75.

Both courses are 3 hours in duration, held in Earlsfield SW18 and have the benefit of a babysitter here to help with babies who are not yet crawling.
Cost £75 per person (including a handy book to take home)
